Insights - Opening Portals to Personal Creativity:
A Mixed-Media Workshop
Discover your own uniquely creative self
Julie Apap and Jeni Caruana, both experienced teachers and exhibiting artists, welcome you on a journey of self-discovery following the path of your own creativity. Julie and Jeni are well-qualified to guide you alomng this path, having explored many avenues of self-expression on their own journeys toward greater awareness and being.
These three linked afternoons are aimed at everyone who feels that they have more to discover about themselves. No artistic ability whatsoever is necessary.
First, you will be helped to record details of the world around you visually and emotionally, possibly for the first time ever! You will learn simple skills to enable you to 'feel' with clay and to 'see' with a pencil. This will give you a confident base to work from.
Then, with demonstrations and practical exercises, Julie and Jeni will introduce you to a myriad of media to explore and experiment and have fun with.
The knowledge and experience gained will form a safe platform to branch out into personal creativity.
In an atmosphere of total suppport and individual attention, your own inner wisdom will be set free to create its own work of art. Julie and Jeni will help to birth each unique piece.
This promises to be an exciting and transformational experience for everyone.
The prehistoric temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra have been chosen as a focus for this workshop as their enigmatic atmosphere can be interpreted on so many different levels, from sheer physical majesty to deep abstract mystery.
