About Jake Ewen

Jake Ewen is a practising musician and researcher into the metaphysics of sound, whose studies of cymatics and wave theory have helped shed light on the links between Sound and the formative processes of creation. The study of three dimensional wave harmonics help us understand possible principles at play in the morphology of earth’s energy grid system. Acoustic archeology that has been pioneered by researchers such as Paul Devereux shows that ancient man was acutely sensitive to the importance of sound.

Cymatics and geomancy

In 1998 Jake Ewen discovered the fascinating world of cymatics, the study of sound’s formative influence over matter, prior to physical crystalisation. Everything is a form of energy, waves of motion in binary periodicity. All the matter in the universe is the result of an invisible matrix of wave functions, harmonic & resonant proportions; vortexs of spiralling energy within the grand interference pattern of our waveform omniverse. Through the study of cymatics one can gleam, quite intuitively, many of these sound principles behind the process of material formation.

The idea of the ancient understanding of earth energy and how it was manipulated by the ancients has recently come back into the spotlight as clues from the past continue to surface. Geomancy and dowsing were even popular in medievel times to find water and minerals (and gold). Today, the techniques are used to find earth energies and to help heal geopathic stress in houses and the landscape.

From a review of an earlier talk: "There was a definite buzz to the room as Jake Ewen addressed the hall with an explanation of cymatics. The talk involved a neatly animated presentation backed up with enough scientific clout to reduce the audience to mere waveforms. Mr Ewen's delivery was such that the information was easy to grasp and, together with the visual cues, left a lasting impression."
